Job Description:

This position would suit an experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef who wants to advance food service and create a culinary destination for guests.

We have an incredible large event space called “The King Suite” which caters for 400-500 people as well as additional large event spaces within the main house.

Our focus is on banqueting for large gatherings including Weddings, Conferences & Events & Birthday/Anniversary Celebrations. The role therefore requires attention to detail, efficient workflows, and creative menu planning.

This opportunity is suited to individuals with experience and someone who can instil excitement and creativity into the whole team. A passion for food and the customer experience are essential along with a great eye for detail.

The ability to train and develop a kitchen brigade is critical in order to manage the size of the operation with consistency. You will thrive on a challenge and have very strong leadership skills whilst being an excellent communicator with the other hotel departments, especially the busy Sales Office.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift

  • Wokingham - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Chef: 4 years (required)

  • Cooking: 4 years (required)
